Education Scholarships and Grants

Te Uranga B2 Incorporation Education Grants are to provide financial assistance to shareholders and their descendants toward advancement of their education through attendance at early childhood education, primary, secondary and tertiary education. 

Education Grants are open all year and relate to education fees and related costs.
All students must be a descendant of one of the original 49 owners of Te Uranga B2 Inc listed below.

Grant Conditions

  1. Grants are limited to one application per student per calendar year and only applies to student enrolment for that year.

  2. Applicants must provide proof of enrolment from the pre-school, school, Tertiary education facility or Trade Training Provider.

  3. All applications must include the name of the student, the name of the shareholder, verification of Share Register No, student whakapapa verification and an invoice for fees to be paid or a receipt for fees already paid.

  4. All applications must be complete.          

  5. All applications should be sent /emailed Te Uranga B2 Incorporation, C/- Peak Chartered Accountants Ltd, PO Box 384, Taumarunui 3946 or email: carla@peakca.co.nz  

  6. The decision to approve or decline applications is at the discretion of Te Uranga B2 Incorporation Committee of Management.

  7. On completion of study applicants must write a statement of appreciation to the shareholders via the Committee of Management and report the outcome of their studies.

Payment

  1. Payment will be made to the school or education facility that the student attends and the application must include an invoice and verification of the education facility bank account, OR

  2. Where education fees and related costs are already paid the applicant must provide a receipt or evidence of payment and verification of a bank account number. to which the fees are to be paid.

  3. Payment will be made within two months of approval following Te Uranga B2 Incorporation Committee of Management meeting.
